If spam filtering software Mail GoGoGo and Magellan is installed on your computer, you can use seamless mail checking by both software, as if Mail GoGoGo was a part of Magellan.
Magellan does not include Mail GoGoGo, you have to purchase Mail GoGoGo for spam mail filtering.

Mail GoGoGo does not filter out received spam; it deletes unnecessary mail from your mail server directly.

Following functions are available only when Mail GoGoGo is installed.






17-1. Preparation and setting of Magellan


First, install Mail GoGoGo.
In the Action setting of Preferences window of Magellan, check "Use Mail GoGoGo".







17-2. Setting of Mail GoGoGo


For use of Mail GoGoGo from Magellan, do the following setting in the Mail GoGoGo.


Basic Setting:

Inspection mode:

Select "Manual only" from the Pop up menu.
If you select other mode, redundant mail checking might occur. Auto mail checking have to be set only on Magellan.


Inspection level:

You can set any level.

Analysis setting:

Select any Method for spam analysis.








17-3. Account inspected


Of course Mail GoGoGo can inspect mail of three accounts individually. But If you check Use Mail GoGoGo check box in the Magellan Preferences window, Mail GoGoGo can filter spam mail of all your accounts through Magellan. Thus combination of Mail GoGoGo and Magellan can inspect 3 accounts plus 16 accounts.

Please note that Mail GoGoGo does not inspect the account which "leave mails in server" option is checked on Magellan account setting, because Mail GoGoGo is for deleting spam from your mail server.

17-4. Work of Mail GoGoGo

Even Mail GoGoGo application is not opened, Magellan lets Mail GoGoGo start inspection of mail automatically. Then if you have necessary new e-mail, Magellan will receive it.

Inspection will be done according to your Analysis settings. When Mail GoGoGo delete unnecessary mail, it will be reported in the way of your option settings. You can see information of deleted spam by clicking the History button.








17-5. Addition to Friends list


Add all of your friends at once:

To add all of your friends in the address book, first export your Address book. Then, open Mail GoGoGo application. Open Friends list window and click Import button to select your Address book file.


Add your friends individually

Open received e-mail from your friend. Then click the Add button pressing Control key. Mail GoGoGo Friends list window will open for you to confirm and save the address.






17-6. Addition to Black list


Open your received spam mail. Then click the Add button pressing Control key+Shift key.

Mail GoGoGo Black list window will open for you to confirm and save the address.





17-7. See History of spam deletion


Select Mail GoGoGo from your Apple menu. Then, select History menu. Information of latest 150 deletion is recorded. The information is sender, subject and first several lines of mail body.

17-8. About Mail GoGoGo


Mail GoGoGo deletes these kinds of unsolicited e-mail: Unsolicited bulk e-mail (UBE), unsolicited commercial e-mail (UCE), chain mail, porn spam, mail bomb, junk e-mail, abuse mail script (worm) mail
Mail GoGoGo inspects mail on the server to test whether it is legitimate mail or not, and deletes spam mail.

You can use seamless mail filtering and checking with Magellan.
